Get-VIPermission

SYNOPSIS
Retrieves the permissions defined on the specified inventory objects.

SYNTAX
Get-VIPermission [[-Entity] ] [-Principal ] [-Server ] []


DESCRIPTION
Retrieves the permissions defined on the specified inventory objects. If no inventory objects are specified, the cm
dlet retrieves all permissions available on the server.


PARAMETERS
-Entity
Specify the inventory items for which you want to retrieve permissions.

-Principal
Specify the users and groups for which you want to retrieve permissions.

You can specify permissions to a datastore only on vSphere 4.0 and later.
